Thanks for helping, Evan. We are working on this but there are no shortcuts there. For you it will be very beneficial if we can find a workaround somehow.

I repeat - it is not SeeYou at fault, it is the drivers for the graphics cards. If it was SeeYou we would have already solved the problem and this thread would not exist.

If it was SeeYou then it wouldn't work on any computer running Vista. This is however not true. The reason why you don't see people posting here that it works for them is because they are happily using SeeYou and are not browsing this forum searching for help. They don't need any help.

One more in search for the workaround. Is any of you using Aeroglass? Is there any difference if you try to disable Aeroglass, reboot and run SeeYou in 3D?

I had the same problem with the new version of See You and looked into the suggested fixes with no luck.

I finally found the solution to this problem. It's called StrePla. everything that used to work in See You still seems to work in StrPla.

Strepla has the advantage that they used DirectX for their 3D driver. Since DirectX is native MS it is of course supported in the newest versions of MS operating systems.

Don't vote too soon because we ain't letting it go easy ;)

Check your graphic driver version! My Acer with Vista and GMA 965 has no Problem in 3D!

  Many thanks. 3D is now working perfectly with my Acer laptop with the Intel  943GML chipset. All you have to do is, as you say, update the drivers for the Intel 900 series and all problems are solved. Note this update is dated September 18, 07 so it is possible that earlier updates may not work. Therefore if you are still having problems go to the Intel download site, download and install. Again thanks!

I am using 15.4.4 and it will not display texture mapping in 3D (solid black).  Nor will several earlier drivers that I have tried.  I have tried reducing color depth, resolution, window size and all the rest.  No joy.  Works great with texture mapping off though (wire frame ground contour).

According to intel, this chipset supports OpenGL graphics without trouble, but I guess we know of one instance that doesn't hold!

I fixed the problem on a Sony VAIO Notebook with Viste Home Premium:

1. Download the "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver" from the intel homepage. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2800&OSFullName=Windows+Vista*+Home+Premium%2C+32-bit+version&lang=eng&strOSs=153&submit=Go!

2. You are not allowed to install the Driver via the "winvista_15121.exe", because the driver ist not a "Sony-driver". Because of this you need to right click on the "winvista_15121.exe" and choose "extract here"

3. Go to >System controll >hardware >update device driver. Choose your Graphic card an click to "update driver" and choose your extracted file "winvista_15121\graphics\igdlh.inf"

4. After reboot Seeyou is runing perfektly in 3D on your Sony Vaio Notebook with Vista
