« on: January 23, 2009, 03:54:01 am »
Hello Pilots,

I'm a Brazilian paraglider Pilot that have a server in Brazil called www.xcbrasil.org.

I'm trying to construct The Brazilian Airspace in OpenAir format for use in flight verification of Hang Glider and Paraglider here in my server. I allready have some old files to start, but i need more.

Could you please tell me what kind of software is used for Openair Construction?

I'm constructing it by hand (notepad) and seeing the results in SeeYou, There is another way do do it ? if have plese Guys send me a description to how to do it more quickly.

Thank You

Hi Durval,

the easiest way to modify Open Airspace files is by using a text editor program as notepad, editor, notepad++ or similar. To generate a new file there might be a possibilty to do this more quickly, but I do not know these.

See the Winpilot User manual under: http://www.winpilot.com/UsersGuide/WinPilot_900.pdf for a short describtion of the Open Airspace format (last two pages)
