I use an hp journada with PowerLoc Destinator 1.5 gps mouse antenna (Leadtek 9531 ?). It works. Now I've tried to run SeeYou(last update) without success. There's the information on display NODATA TO...Under the menue Hardware-Terminal I receive   hieroglyphs, but not like they should be. I’ve tried all port settings and  protocol optionals- without success. The same data I receive with the mouse program GPSmaus 2.5 without possibility to change. Is there anybody outhere who can help ? Thanks !

Please send us the Terminal log which you can create through Menu > Settings > Harfware > Terminal > Save.

Another post on this forum suggest that there is tools with which you can program the Mouse GPS devices:

Be sure the GPS is not if SIRF mode, I may have the spelling wrong. A friend had his GPS revert to this mode when power was interrupted by pulling the GPS out of the sleeve quickly. This mode sends a strange data stream. GPS manufacturer had a utility to change the mode back to NMEA.

Hi Andrej, hi Bob. Thank you for the quick answer. Also I think that the mouse is programmed in the binar SIRF protocol. I'll send Andrej the terminal log, and then we'll see. Big compliment to the SeeYou-team, for creating a software like this, and for helping to all the troublesome hardware problems !

I hope it is that simple a problem. These guys are amazing in how they respond to polite suggestions and requests for changes. Why, they even added the SZD55-1 to the polars list! Just to keep me happy! I doubt there has been another soaring software product created where we have such direct access to the developers on such a regular basis. Although if they did not do so much flying we could have had the new release a couple of weeks ago! ;-)

They are even movie stars now, my son bought me the Mifflin 2003 contest video "A Fine Week of Soaring", just watched it, and SeeYou desktop flight replays have a big part!
