When connected to a 302, does seeyou use gps altitude or barometric altitude?
Is it possible to declare a task in the 302 with seeyou?
thansk

SeeYou Mobile does use the pressure altitude from 302 (amongst many other things). It's not possible to declare tasks to any logger at present.

Shouting illiterately at the developers is probably not the best way to get things done.

Hint, you made a statement, not a question, why did you put a question mark at the end of it?

I have a Colibri and I want to be able to upload declarations to it but, along with support for the Cambridge, I believe it's on the list of things to do and I'm waiting patiently!

While I agree with Andrew about the message of "Anonymous" I have to say that I am waiting for downloading tasks to my 302 for over 6 months now. Meanwhile my version of mSeeYou is collecting dust. It is disappointing to see some very basic features long since implemented in competing products to move forward so slowly. In other words "My 2001 version of WinPilot is still superior." I didn't expect that to be true in November when I purchased mSeeYou in January. I much hope to use mSeeYou in the future.

It looks like my patience has paid off. :) Let's hope the 302 users get supported in version 1.1 of Connectme.

Dieter, even without task declaration and flight log download I consider mSeeYou to be superior in many ways to my 2003 version of Winpilot Pro.

Yeah, great news...we all have been waiting for this :-)
And I agree about the WinPilot statement: I have been using WinPilot but switched to mSeeYou. I still have WinPilot installed on my iPAQ just for up- and download to my logger. With ConnectMe I can uninstall it (too bad of the $425 I paid for it).

While I am disappointed that declaring to the Cambridge 302 and Model 20 is not yet available, I've very much enjoyed using SYM for the last 6 months. Our weather has not been good for badge and record attempts, so it wasn't a problem for me.

ConnectMe seems like a good interim product to manage the loggers given the number and variety of loggers out there; ultimately, I would like to declare and download flights directly from SYM.

Hi there,

Where can I find the exact information what data of the 302 is used by Mseeyou?

During flight I have notice that wind data are different from what is calculated by the 302.

The 302 has very accurate wind calculations and it would be a pity if they are not used in Mseeyou.

thanks,
Walter

SeeYou Mobile receives IAS, GS, TRK, pressure Altitude and some other. It is enough to calculate the wind in straight flight as well.

I haven't flown with a 302, so I can't say for sure, but the difference in the wind computation is most likely to come from the algorythms that are used by both.

Accurate wind calculations are a myth. I wonder if you are suggesting that SeeYou Mobile wind calculations are not as good as the 302s?
