Andrej,

( this thread for background: SeeYou fails to see GPS data http://localhost/naviter_forum/discus/forum/messages/1031/1335.html?1106615029 )

I believe that I have discovered the cause of our problem with the NODATA messages.
I upgraded to Win CE 2003 the 11 of January.
Since that time I have, until today, not been able to connect to the iPAQ3975 com 6 4800 baud.
Here is what the PPC does:
After starting mCU an initial NODATA msg apperars followed by BAD... .
Shortly after mCU locks on to the GPS (com6 4800 n81).
Again after a short time,30-45 seconds, NODATA appears and the cycle repeats untill shutdown.
Now here is the curious part: using a GARMIN etrx GPS on com1 mCU has NO trouble seeing the Com1 and working properly.
This problem apperars to me to be directly related to the upgrade PPC ce 2003 and the Com 6 port.
To eliminate a hardware problem I used my friends EMTAC GPSjac (same as mine) to determine if my iPAQ had a connection

problem. This test elimininated that possibility.

I am unable to reload PPC CE 2003 or I wouldn't trouble you with this.

I know your team will be able to address the fix as you have many others in the past.

Good luck.
Hope to hear from you soonest.
Rod

Rod, this is a bit odd. Please bear with me.

I need you to create a Terminal Log with your EMTAC GPS so we can see what is going on:
1. Create a "NMEAlog" folder inside the "My Documents" folder in the main memory of the Pocket PC.
2. Run SeeYou Mobile
3. Let it show NODATA/BAD data, then exit SeeYou Mobile
4. Send us the logs created in "NMEAlog" folder per email

Thanks.

Am in receipt of your email instructing me to load V 2.2.
I have had V 2.2 loaded since the latest build released 27.12.04.
See this thread for a recap of the problem.

256k storage card
EMTAC GPSJAQ gps

Intel PXA250 http://www.intel.com/design/pca/prodbref/298620.htm
ARM* Architecture v.5TE compliant

MS Streets and MAps works

Have you tried changing to com port 4?
I have an IPAQ3950 and EMTAC GPSJAQ. After upgrading from PPC2002 to 2003 I had to change the com port from 6 to 4 to get connected to the GPSJAQ.
