I've been following posts on the task upload problems since late last year and this important feature still does not work for me. The ConnectMe software works fine but in mCU the connection page fields (parameters, device,interface) are blank and no connection is attempted by the software.  

I've tried removing mCU and ConnectMe and reloading mCu V2.3 from web site as recently as today without success.

Some-one suggested that Naviter check that mCU coding has been correctly transposed from ConnectMe. This seems sensible as I gather most people can get the stand alone ConnectMe to work.

I use ipaq 3950 and volklogger. It's a curious problem. It might be PDA dependent but one thought is it might just be caused by the order in which you first loaded the software.

I loaded ConnectMe when first released and it worked fine. I then loaded the mCu update with "ConnectMe" included and it didn't work. Maybe the first released ConnectMe "defeated" all future connections by similar software.

Did you load mCU with "ConnectMe" capability included first?  

Using ConnectMe for uploads I've found the same problems with not all fields being transferred to the VL. i.e Home Pt, Sector radius etc.. There have been postings about this problem for over 6 months with no fix available.

If you want a download programme that works properly, I've used "VL to IGC" available from Cumulus/Paul Remde. It's simple, gives you an igc file and verifies the declared task all on your PDA. Everything an Official Observer needs essentially.

I gather from other postings that despite your partial success many people are still not able to Upload tasks from mCU to a range of loggers incl. Volkslogger, Colibri, Cambridge.

As I say I've already changed software for downloads and if mCU is not fixed soon will switch to Winpilot which works fine for both task Uploads and Downloads. Disadvantage is having to learn new software but if what you've got doesn't work and there's no indication that it will what else can you do.

We do have a fix for loading tasks to the devices now. It was an interesting memory/device problem. Anyone who wants to test it right now should write to info@seeyou.ws so I can give you the links.
