Airspace-file The Netherlands version 8,6 effective 2008-06-05.

Download per direct link above or: http://www.luchtruim.zweefportaal.nl/asnldb.htm

SOURCE: AIP/VFG The Netherlands

IMPORTANT CHANGES PER 2008-06-05:

The following Transponder Mandatory Zones (TMZ) are always active:
TMZ Eelde:                   1500 ft and up
TMZ Maastricht:          1500 ft and up
TMZ A:                   FL 065 and up
TMZ C:                   FL 065 and up
TMZ D North:   FL 065 and up (included as TMZ D, FL 065 - FL 195)
TMZ D South:   2500 ft and up (included as TMZ D s, 2500 ft - FL 065)
TMZ E:                   FL 065 and up
TMZ Rotterdam:         2500 ft and up

TMZ Eindhoven and Caution Area Rotterdam are withdrawn.

Lower limit of Dutch Mil TMA's A, C, D and E Class B is raised from
FL065 to FL095 from FRI 1700 to MON 0000 LT and during legal holidays.
However, this does not apply to TMZ A, C, D North and E. As a result
gliding above FL 065 in EHAA FIR is not possible during both weekdays,
weekends ánd legal holidays without Mode S transponder.

Be careful: Upper limit of Dutch Mil TMA B is always FL065,
airspace above Dutch Mil TMA B is Amsterdam CTA East classification A!

If a transponder is carried it shoud also be activated outside TMZ's.

Do not activate transponder during winch-launches.

Changes to version 8.4 and 8.4.1:
-Removed frequencies from airspace labels
-Added WinPilot colour-definitions
-Edited airspace labels to make them more conversion "friendly"
-Removed Rotterdam Caution Area
-Added TMZ Rotterdam
-Removed Glider Sector Maastricht TMA 1
-Added TMZ's Nieuw Milligen A, C, D, D South (incl. the "Malden"-sector
northeast of EHVK CTR) and E.
-Added TMZ Eelde
-Added TMZ Maastricht
-Removed TMZ Eindhoven
-Edited note 1, 3 and 9
-Twenthe and Valkenburg CTR's are still included in this file, but
refer to the following NOTAM for the status of Twenthe CTR:
M2153/07 CTR TWENTHE (C) DE-ACTIVATED. NO ENTRY AND CROSSING CLEARANCE
REQUIRED. ATZ REMAINS ACTIVE. LOCAL GLIDER AND MOTOR FLYING CAN BE
EXPECTED. 01 JAN 00:01 2008 UNTIL 31 DEC 23:59 2008. Valkenburg CTR
has classification G from GND up to 1500' MSL per BVG/SRZ.

Remark: Integrated glidersectors in Beek, Deelen en Eindhoven CTR's to reduce the
number of airspace warnings in PDA-software. Glider sectors are parts
of the CTR's and these can now be de-activated without de-activating
the rest of the CTR. The philosophy used is that only when airspace
has restrictions for gliders airspace warnings shall be produced, no
warnings shall be given for airspace that has no restrictions. Pilots
therefor have to de-activate airspace for which the specific
restrictions are not active for that flight or at the time of the
warning. For example: if Terlet Area's A and B can be used by gliders
without any restrictions then the pilot can de-activate these parts of
the Deelen CTR during or before the flight without de-activating the
entire Deelen CTR. In that case no airspace warnings shall be produced
while flying in the Terlet Area's A and B, not for the Deelen CTR nor
for the Terlet Area's A and B. However in that case airspace warnings
will still be produced when approaching or entering Terlet Area's c
and D and remainder of the Deelen CTR.

System of update definitions: Version 4.5 is the update released in year (200)4 and month 5 (may).

This file contains SUA Types P, R, D & TMZ (or Caution Area, shown as   respective class)
& Controlled Airspace types A, B, C & D up to FL195.
