Having made the in hindsight dumb decision to abandon my trusted and stable installation of SeeYou mobile 2.74 and upgrade to 3.11, I now am faced with some very severe problems.

My Toshiba e800 had never any big problems with SeeYou Mobile, but suddenly I am required to soft-reset the device essentially each time before I want to run mCU. Also, when changing to the map on page 2, mCU just crashes.

Has this been addressed before? Any bug fixes in sight?
Right now, I am very much in favour for downgrading back to version 2.74...

Sounds like something has become corrupt somewhere, have you tried doing a "Hard Reset" (back to factory defaults) to your PDA and re-installing 3.11 from scratch ?

One other thing I have noted is that very occasionally the airspace .CUB file can for some unknown reason become corrupt (I think it has only happened to me twice, once on version 2.75 and once on 3.1), so try also using a new airspace file .

I have found version 3.1 & 3.11 very stable so far, having used it for many flights.

Thanks, the interesting thing is that map page #1 works, but initiating a change to page #2 always leads to a crash, as if the device runs out of memory or something.

Maybe something is wrong with page #2 settings, try to remove them by copying settings from page #1, the option for doing that is at one of the last tabs in configuration menu.

Found it under Menu->Settings->Misc->Copy map settings

Seems that it works when I

first do a soft reset
then manually start up ActiveSync
and then SeeYou Mobile or ConnectMe

I am, though somewhat guardedly...

After closing mCU, I now sometimes get graphics problem, requiring me to soft-reset the device. But hey, as long as it won't crash on my during flight...
